That's a forced meme. Too many people spam it, especially people who haven't played Portal. There is cake.

Let's see here, a Cake Room, a glitch to get inside the Room, and an ending cutscene. Despite the fact that it's written everywhere on walls in Portal, there was cake so technically someone or something made cake. And so, since there is cake, calling it a lie would be invalid.
