That moment when you see your starting villagers...

...and two of them are villagers you already have in another town. I'm resetting two of my towns, and the first one has Francine and Cole as starting villagers. I currently have both of them in my all-bunny town, and I hate the idea of letting them be voided.

I mean, Francine can probably be rehomed, but no one seems to like Cole and he's just so adorable! With his lazy personality and buck teeth...aww!

Anyone else with multiple towns ever experience this?

I have never experienced this, but I imagine that if that happened I would just reset again!

I think the bunnies like you and so they try to show up

I kept getting Lopez each time I restarted my cycling town. At first I thought it was a glitch with the game or something, I literally had him in 3 different towns as a starter. And in one of those he ended up anchored so I just couldn't get him a home since he wouldn't leave. I've now had Lopez in a total of 4 towns....

I have Rod in Eden, when I created another town he showed up. When he pinged me to move I let him go. For me, there are so many villagers to choose from why hang on to duplicates.

I have a major duplicate villager problem right now.

I finally figured out where the single of each villager will be staying. I adore them all, but Tia was a starter in one of my towns and I can't imagine letting her go. She has to move be from the other town.

So many villagers to love it's hard to have duplicates!

They aren't starters but I have duplicates of Beardo and Apple... Beardo is my favorite so I'm paranoid of losing him, thus insurance, and Apple is the only peppy I like (well, I also like Bella but she doesn't fit any of my towns).

I love Beardo so much if he shows up anywhere outside of Rumble I would probably keep him. Extra Beardo is not a problem

I ended up resetting the town anyway, and I don't like having duplicate villagers (one of the reasons why I currently have three towns), but some of them are so adorable and awesome that duplicates would probably be okay.

Oh got, and when you check the plot as well. I had that happen with Portia and Gabi. At least Portia was fixable. Gabi was not.

Well I just finished my final reset of this cartridge and ended up with:

Penelope, Lyman, Kiki, Olivia, and Fang.

At least the map has plenty of space to put all of the PWPs and areas I have planned. Woo!

The weirdest thing happened to me. When I first got Wild World, I had Roald as a starting villager. When I got a copy of City Folk, I had Roald as a starting villager again. For Christmas two years back, my mom got me New Leaf and you'll NEVER guess who was in my town. Roald. I don't know how that was even possible, honestly.

When I saw my starters for both of my towns, I was pretty happy with the mix. In Sapphire, I got my favorite normal villager Bettina, and I almost cried out of joy. I swear, that day was the happiest moment of my ACNL life. xD
