That feeling of panic when you deliver a parcel or a gift

and it's an ugly shirt, and they put it on. I just, Timbra gave Francine a "Bad Plaid Shirt" I mean it has the word "Bad" on it, and she still put it on. As soon as she did the little clothes changing animation I was like "OH NO, NO, NO, NO".

Luckily when I said yuck she took it off. You just knows those shirts are going to spread like plagues if you don't get rid 'em fast. I had Merengue put on a terrible shirt and she didn't take it off. Or that time when I got my Beau and he was wearing the cookie design. He spread it to 3 villagers before I nixed it.

I hate when they change their shirts so much. I end up spam mailing them the shirt I want them to wear until they put the darn thing back on. I finally just got Lolly and Tutu back to normal yesterday.

After about a week of spamming I got Bam to take off the cookie design. He looked ridiculous. I don't care if they don't wear their original shirts. But when they wear ugly ones I just... no please.

If you want shirts to spread like wildfire, just gather all the villagers and trap them in a hole-y barrier. I remember the time when "bad" meant "cool". I'm old.

Advice: the next time you have to deliver a gift and don't want to say no straight away, take the gift, save and quit. Reload, open the gift. If it's something you don't mind giving to that villager, quit without saving, reload, and the gift will be intact in your inventory so you can give it to the villager without a problem. If it's something you hate you can toss it out or keep it to yourself.

I hate it when they get ugly shirts and then spread it among themselves. I'm not talking about the patterns at the Able Sisters since you can swap those out for things they can't buy, but the rest. Sometimes I find it cute and like to think that's part of their personality but other times it just ruins everything.

I do the same thing...saving checking the present if good reload if bad don't deliver. for a while that melon shirt was going around and I was just like wtf why is everyone wearing this. now it's the kiwi top >_> I've just been lazy to send everyone shirts.

I made the mistake of selling Punchy my green zap suit and he looks kind of cute in it but now him, Chief, and Whitney are all wearing it. And Whitney gave Deirdre a sno-cone tank so Deirdre, Bam, and Rudy are all in that. Unfortunately, Julian decided he MUST HAVE the duck design in Able Sisters (I quickly replaced everything with umbrella designs after) but he. won't. change. I've been mailing his shirt to him and he keeps swapping it out in the same place in his house omg. I'm probably just going to mail him 2 so he can display one and wear the other one.

^ Try mailing him with a note saying "Wear this" or something. I don't know if that makes a difference or if it's just a coincidence but when I tell my villagers to wear it in the letter, they're more likely to wear it.

I had no idea villagers would end up with the same designs that weren't in the Able Sisters shop. The only thing that's happened is them owning the same items and swapping it between themselves sometimes, but several wearing the same thing hasn't happened unless I put custom designs on display. Thankfully.

I hate it when they change from the shirts that I have designed, cause it's so hard to make villagers wear them D: But usually when they change into ugly shirts I just say that they look bad and then they usually change the shirt back xD

I once had one of my villagers change into an ugly shirt right there on the spot, but luckily they asked me how they looked and I said no to their shirt and they changed back. Too bad that doesn't work all the time because it happened again later on and I said no, but they didn't change back.

Fang just changed to a bear shirt that he got from Gala... "noooooooo" was my reaction.. we'll fix that later

Marshal is kind of annoying me. Chow sent him this lovely ornate blue shirt he was doubtful about, but wore when I praised it to the skies. Then four days later he was all: "I'm going to wear this revolting yellow shirt for five weeks solid." He just won't change it! I don't even know where he got it from, it isn't one of my patterns and I delivered no packages.
