If you were on here last night you would have seen a lot of threads from me about deciding whether or not to reset the town I've had for 7 months. I felt like I was at a dead end with it and resetting seemed like a good solution, even though I do love my map and villagers.

Anyways, fast forward a day and I've worked on it a lot. I didn't really know where to start because I'm rubbish at being creative and landscaping is beyond me, but I re-organised all of the flowers in my town (and wow, there were a lot!) and I started deciding where to put PWPs so I'm going to be spending the next week or so knocking some down and rebuilding some, it will give my town a completely different feel and really brush up some areas.

I basically just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped me last night and especially the ones who visited my da and gave me advice after seeing my town. Now I'm 100% not resetting, I love my town and I'm looking forward to spending Christmas with my villagers ^^

If you're interested, I've just this minute updated my da and you can see it here: 7100-4301-2836

My favourite areas are the train station, the town tree, the park area near Molly's house, the cafe & windmill area and my house :)

Thanks again for all your help ^^

I'm glad you found an answer to your problem. :) If you need advice on landscaping, I'm happy to help. I'll try to visit your DA now that I've finished my dream suite!

Hey I just visited your town and it's amazing!
And your map is really great too, I think you made the right decision in not resetting
seriously all you'll need to do is to landscape it to the way you like it
and you won't have a problem in wanting to reset!
I really love the windmill area too I can imagine how cool it'd look with your paths there

Aww thank you :) I really like it again now, I've fallen in love with it all over again. I can't wait for December now, it's going to look great in the snow ^^

I know there is a resetting thread -- but perhaps there should be a not resetting thread here too:) Glad you love your town again!

I am glad your happy and decided to stick with your town. However don't be under the impression that resetting is 'bad' per say because it certainly isn't and in some cases can revitalise the game for you.

Agreed. Resetting has definitely been for the best in the past, I would never have this town if I hadn't reset the ones I wasn't sure about :)

I've visited your DA and your town looks great! I like how there are paths, but they're just made of flower outlinings. I'm glad you like your town again! :)
You posted a while ago you didn't like the placement of your house, because it isn't in the middle, but remember the pwps/bushes/flowers/trees in front of your town don't have to be symmetrical! You can make a nice combination of 2 pwps for example, and I personally like the tiny imperfections. ;)
