It's my new Animal Crossing addiction.

A few things I did with this much useful tool

Waterfall behind my museum, before it was moved (two hours of work, as I was still trying to figure out how to use the darn tools)

Nook's Cranny with it's own personal waterfall

I'm obsessed with waterfalls. Can't you tell?

Thank you. I wanted the museum to have a gorgeous background as the museum itself is gorgeous.

I would say you can make good things with terraforming but I just can't get into it since when using it I seem to make so many mistakes.

I'm sorry you're having a hard time using the terraforming tool. Yeah, it could be discouraging if you mess up a lot but I think a lot of the mistakes are fixable. At least for me they were. I had lost count of how many times I messed when making that first waterfall set up.

Those look awesome!

I haven't done a whole lot yet, but I'm having fun toying with the tools. Waterscaping definitely seems harder than cliff building so far.

I love the crazy waterfalls! I can't wait to do something like that to my island too!

Genuinely been doing it all day on and off, literally only half finished like two acres at best and probably going to keep working on them tomorrow. It was so therapeutic.

Thank you everyone. :)

Yeah, I had decided before I even unlocked terraforming to put a waterfall behind the museum and I'm glad it turned out nice. I only had the cliff tool for the first hour so I had just made the cliffs and it was just cliffs for the first hour or so. But most of the two hours I took was working on the left side because it was giving me problems for some reason. And when I moved my museum, I had to make the water around it wider in the back and on the sides because I miscounted the tile size of the museum. And the top, I had to make the cliff wider than I wanted them to be, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to add the trees. And I almost got stuck up there by the way because I put the fences down wrong. XD

I can HEAR the waterfalls through the images xD but for real this is so cool!! I find the process of terraforming to be pretty boring, but the results are sooo good once it's all put together

Also idk why but I love the fences on the edge of the land between the waterfall, it looks a lil like a bridge, which would be a great way to turn land bridges into something that looks a but nicer!

man I think the waterfall next to the nook's cranny is really cute, I like how it's "sectioned" off by the nook's cranny rope fence.

Thank you, Larimar. :)
Yeah, you can hear the waterfall before you see it. I'm likely going to put a bench in front of the museum so me or my villagers can sit and just listen to the waterfall. It's very calming.

Thank you as well Lumbridge. :)
I initially wasn't going to put a waterfall there (since it's in the middle of the island) but I was just messed around with the tools and one ended up forming.

I really like the setup by your shop. I was wanting to do the huge waterfall thing, but with my town plaza. Once I get terraforming unlocked, I'll have to see with what kind of designs I can make happen. Thank you for sharing your work here, it's truly inspiring!

Thank you.

Oh a huge waterfall behind the plaze. That would look nice. Please share any pictures once you have it done. And you're welcome. :)

Very pretty! I'm so scared of it, I want to move a part of my river and I'm afraid it won't look natural at all... I wish we had a chance to just terraform without consequences, I'd love a spinoff that was like Happy Home Designer but for terraforming random islands.
