Is it me or is it kinda hard to terraform in winter? I can barely see where the cliff ends because I can't see the edge of the cliff! The white snow just blends everything together lol

I'm already sick of the snow and can't wait for the green grass again...

Oh you northern hemisphere-ers*. I know how you feel though when I was going through winter and I was terraforming, lol.

Especially when you're futzing around and don't have clear plans yet, my designs were looking preeetty ugly. It was rough.

*is also a NH but chose opposite

For me the same it’s kinda hard to terraforming in winter. I can’t wait to see green grass again but before I want to see a spring season. That would be my first spring session.

I feel like it's the opposite for me. I find it so much easier to terraform in the snow because it is so clean. It is hardest for me to terraform in the summer because the grass blends all together for me with that bright green grass.

I have a tropical island which is a pain to decorate in the winter, so I TT'd backwards to August and have been vibing since. I live in central Texas in real life which has a very mild winter (no snow, temperatures ranging from 40s-70s) so playing ACNH in the late summer during irl January doesn't feel weird at all. Plus the in game summer color pallet, etc. makes it much more easier for me to decorate my island the way I want to.

Same!! I TT to end of feburary. The ground is brown. It's easier to see what I'm doing and it's a nice difference. Also it's raining almost everyday and looks so nice with my kinda cottage/ woodsy look.

I don't so much have a problem with seeing the cliffs amongst the snow, it's just that the white is a lot plainer than the normal green grass and it just doesn't motivate me as much to plan all these grand designs (not that my terraforming is too great in the summer either). i'm excited to get back into at least spring and probably rework some of my temporary work from this month
