Tenth villager question

Is it still the same where they won’t request to leave if they’re your tenth villager? I got rid of a villager I really liked to try out another villager and I sorely regret it.

I miss Fuchsia so much and while Cherry is adorable? I feel so sad without Fuchsia, so I want to give Cherry away and get my bb back. I feel so sad that it won’t be the same Fuchsia bc she’s been with me since the beginning. ( I kind of wish they’d remember you no matter what. ORZ )

I have all of my dreamies so it complicates matters, although if I have to cycle Francine out, I have her amiibos so I suppose I could but before going through extreme measures, I want to make sure.

As long as they are the most recent move in they won't request to move! Aw both Fuchsia and Cherry are very cool but I understand how you feel! I had Phoebe as my starter uchi but I just couldn't let her stay in that shabby house (since her real house has lava wallpaper and flooring!)

Aaaah okay! So it might be best to scan someone random in and rescan Francine. Her house is messy anyways so that’s fine! Thank you sm! I DO adore Cherry but I think without realizing it, I was super attached to Fuchsia and now not seeing her has just made me so unhappy.

I have seen people say that they have had the last move in request to leave. Had them request multiple times at that. But it was always during them trying to cycle someone else out via TTing A LOT.
Though, through the most recent datamining it seems they shouldn't request to leave from what I read a week or so go?... I'm not sure if it was patched into one of the new updates where they won't or if maybe after telling other villagers no so many times the game overrides that? It was mentioned in the data mine that more information/code needed to be looked at before confirming the "request to move out %s" as game data fact. I'm not sure if it was further looked into yet or not.
