So as you might or might not know Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is the newest game in the Capcom vs series. I have no idea what Tatsunoko is, from what I can tell they are Power Ranger-esque superheroes in Japan. I dunno, it's a mystery to me.

Anyway, I just looked over this game and it is looking to be pretty awesome. What really convinced me was the fact you have a fighting game that stars Viewtiful Joe, almost worth the price right there. The Capcom fighting roster is pretty decent, with additions like Ryu and Chun-Li from Street Fighter, Megaman from the Megaman Legends games, Zero from Megaman X, and many more that you're probably not familiar with. Also the final boss from Okami is the final boss.

So, anyone else looking forward to the game?

Yes, and No More Heroes 2 comes out the day before or after this game. So I'm skipping school to get and play these games.

By the way, Tatsunoko is a Japanese animation company responsible for cartoons like Speed Racer, Samurai Pizza Cats, Science Team Gatchaman (localized as G-Force) and worked with Gainax to produce Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Never knew that.

Thanks for the little tidbit.

By the way,

Oh, they're a bigger thing than I realized. Nice! How awesome would it be to have Samurai Pizza Cats in the game. XD
*goes to check*

You guys totally missed that the game has online.
Anyway, the Gatchamen are named after birds, and three of them are in the game. Ken the Eagle, Jun (female) the Swan and Joe the Condor.

The guy that looks like Waluigi is not playable, but an assistant to a character called Doronjo.

EDIT: I'll end up using Roll/Morrigan, Frank West/Soki, Ken The Eagle/Zero

Thanks for all the info man, seems like you did your research on the game. ;)

I read that the online feature was only speculation, so if it was confirmed in the game that is awesome!

Yes, the online part was pure speculation, but I kinda confirmed it considering that the official cover art of the game says it's Wi-Fi capable.

I did my research on this game ever since it was announced. I wanted it so bad, I planned on hacking my Wii so it's region-free so I could just import the game. But that's a different story.

Yeah, making it play any kind of region game is a challenge unless you know what you're doing.

As for the game, I think it looks great.

Oh...that was dumb of me, I didn't see that Online stamp at all XD

I'm actually surprised that this is coming to the states, seems like a game that wouldn't considering we don't know most of the characters, glad it is though.
