Personally, I think Scorpions are way better than Tarantulas. Why? See the DIY Tarantula Island thread I posted a while back. Feel free to give an explanation of why you like Tarantulas or Scorpions better (or why you hate or love them both).

Ohh, they're so scary IRL. T^T But in the games, they're at least tolerable. It's really hard to choose because both of those bugs are cool in their own right, so I picked the option for both.

Note: Here's a link to the DIY Tarantula Island thread for those who are curious.

I like both of them really. I remember back in my childhood days of 2007 I wanted a pet Tarantula and my mom rejected me from having one. And honestly, she was right, I wasn't sure if I would even take care of it at all or be careful with it.

But they aren't my most favorite bugs in-game. I prefer to hunt the palm tree bugs as they give out the most bells, plus they respawn quicker.

I had to choose 'i hate them both'. They're too scary!

I've managed to catch them, but not often, and it's horrible. I always end up screaming then panicking, then being knocked out.

I tried to make a low wall to run around. I tried digging some holes where i planned to run towards. I've tried sneaking up on them. But i always end up just completely in a panic. 😅
So embarrassing.

Oh my God, don’t even get me started on the freaking scorpions. It took me the longest time to catch one so I’m gonna go with tarantula!!! 😂😂😂

I hate both (at least the real life counterpart) but, when to comes to the bug models, I strangely like having them both. They go well with some of my island designs, at least atm. I might eventually redo some parts of my island.

I like the tarantulas a little more than the scorpions. I started with scorpions on my island (southern hemisphere) and I think their little eyeballs are more shiny which made them scarier for me. Actually are both tarantulas and scorpions eyeballs shiny? I don't know, if someone wants to study their little terror eyes for me and confirm which one is scarier, hahaha.

I wish both were on multiplayer so I can walk upon my KO'd friends body.

I think both are pretty bad. They're hard to catch! They always sting the player and then drag him or her back to his or her house...

I saw a tarantula in game first, and I got really excited to catch it! So I went with tarantula, but I think they are equally cool to see in the game.

I still don't know how to share videos on here, but I do have a video of myself trying to catch a tarantula, but instead of swinging my net, I shook a tree instead and a wasp nest fell out. Too much bug trouble all at once!

I like both! They are quite scary, true, but after learning how to deal with them it's easy peasy. And the models look great when placed outside.

I prefer scorpions over tarantulas mainly because I'm more afraid of tarantulas. Whenever I see a tarantula, my heart races, and I find myself panicking, which often leads to getting bitten and fainting.

Scorpions, while still a bit scary, don't evoke the same level of fear. When I encounter a scorpion, I feel more confident in my ability to catch it without getting stung.

It’s the exact same for me.

Both of them are wonderful. I like how when they go up to you with a net they give you their kisses of love. You even faint from the overwhelming amount of love! Truly touching! 🦂🕷
I know right? My thoughts exactly. How could I ever possibly not vote for both of them! They're cute! Let's unleash their kisses on all the non-believers Snek!
