Tarantulas on self made paths?

Can tarantulas walk over paths layed out by the player? I know that balloon presents fall into oblivion when they collide with the path.

I don't think so but don't take my word for it completely. I just know a ton of people with completely landscaped towns complain about not being able to find tarantulas or scorpions.

I'm also interested in the answer for this; some insects, like the locusts, seem to be able to walk on paths.

However, I've never seen a tarantula or scorpion on them.

(I need to know whether the only way to catch them is to pull up some of my paths.)

Prob. not, look in the places that are just grass

I have seen tarantulas on my paths before, both on my self made ones, and the ones I got from the qr machine. I even caught one on my paths before, so just from my own experiences they can walk on paths. Although I think they just walked on them I don't think they spawned on the paths. ^.^

Both tarantulas and scorpions can walk on paths. I caught both species while they were scuttling across pathways in front of my home and the home of one of my villagers, so it's definitely possible. I did notice that they ran out of flowers that I had planted nearby, so perhaps a lack of flowers contributes to them not showing up on certain paths.

Yup. I've never actually had a scorpion chasing me though since they're always trapped in a corner or something and I don't have anything to run from. I normally just stare at it and it won't do anything

Yes, they can. I was watching a YouTube video of someone reviewing a dream town and they were stood on a path design that looked like a bottomless pit and there was a grasshopper jumping around on it.

I actually caught a tarantula tonight on a QR path. It was walking (or rather, RUNNING) on it, plain as day.

My event plaza is filled with patterns and I've seen scorpion there, so they can walk on paths. Idk, do they spawn there, but why wouldn't they then ^^
