Tarantula Season 5

I've caught both scorpion and tarantula in WW. I remembered when I first encountered the scorpion in WW, and I was like, "the hell are you?" My character KO'd on the floor and I thought I died.

I tried to catch the tarantula in ACNL, but I somehow spooked myself, missed and I'll never forget its animation. It just stopped, and turned around. I hauled ass, didn't care if I mowed flowers down and got away from that mofo. This will be interesting now because I have a lot more flowers this time.

I have caught a few in my time, even just for fun lol but I need one this season as my town corrupted and I had to start all over again.
Make sure you have only your net in your inventory and don't carry net unless you want to be chased.

I've found 1 or 2 before, but they and the scorpions attacked me, any tips and videos anyone could please show me? These are the only bugs I'm missing and I'm very mad ;_;

I've caught like 4 tarantulas but only one scorpion because they always committed suicide.
I think most people say that, when tarantulas face you and make that cringey sound, you should stop, but I didn't once and they didn't attack me. That was when I learned that, when they face you, you should keep going forward until you're inside the range and catch them. The same goes for scorpions. As long as you move forward really slowly (like when you want to catch a golden stag), they won't attack you and you should be able to catch them.

Also, if anyone can't catch any tarantula before Summer Solstice, you should try then. It'll be clear all day and night and you will be able to see that horrific black thing lurking around, lol. That's when I caught my first tarantula, if I recall correctly.

I literally opened my game and the first thing I saw when I went to my town plaza to check for events was a big furry black thing. BOOM. Slowly crept to it since it went into my orange roses and then caught my first tarantula! It's funny cause I spent the entire summer before trying to FIND one before but they always committed suicide into the ponds or flowers.

It's also the first day of June lmao I feel very lucky

I've caught a tarantula before, but i'm still traumatized from the last time I was wandering around at night and it started chasing me around the area by my house. It's so unexpected too, when you're just going for a nice stroll them BAM, a dark figure approaches you and won't stop following you.

Hmm. Since the release summer I maybe have caught 3 per season, maybe a little bit more at some nice summer nights. I hate the tarantulas and I'm afraid of them but I just love to catch them. I have only caught like 2 scorpions or something, for me they're more rare.

I haven't ever caught one either! In either WW or ACNL! I've caught a scorpion in both but tarantula? No way.

Wow, even after 11 years, still no luck? Not makin' fun of ya, but I'm sorry that you couldn't catch a tarantula yet.

I did like how the game cycles through seasons. Cause when the month is over, scorpions start appearing. Once both tarantulas and scorpions take off for good, Jack starts appearing in your town, asking you to participate in his Halloween event. I can't believe that as soon May ends, the tarantulas and scorpions take up the rest of the year before the month of Halloween (which is both spooky and a signal that the year is ending).
