Tarantula Season 5

Yep, it's that time of the year again, just like when ACNL first came out. Once the night hours begin, tarantulas will spawn in your town. If you haven't caught one yet, it's your chance.

Have you ever caught a tarantula in ACNL yet? I'd be surprised to find out if you haven't caught one yet, and were playing since 2013.

I have, once or twice. I caught the scorpion before too. It is cool to watch them fight in the museum! I have a new town since then though, so I will need to catch them both again this summer. I really like summer in this game, so many bugs to catch.

I had one chase me once,so I ended hiding in Flora's house for 10 minutes...

I've found 1 or 2 before, but they and the scorpions attacked me, any tips and videos anyone could please show me? These are the only bugs I'm missing and I'm very mad ;_;

In WW, they chase you!

I was chased all over town by one once. They leap up at you.
Creepy.

I never have my net when I see em coming. I've missed out on a few, yet when I got my net, they manage to superspeed attack me!

With your net you can creep up to them.

Does that work 100% of the time? Or does it have a chance of failing? I could only find a video, but was from a different game.

In my experience, it was the same all along, for both tarantulas and scorpions in both WW and NL.

I time traveled back in April all the way to July to catch both tarantula and scorpion. Pain in the butt to do even after chopping down trees and selling all my flowers to increase spawning odds. Hope I can catch more to keep in my house

I've had them spawn as soon as my mayor opened the door to get stung. It's so personal I try to hunt them down at this point. I will find and Cath them all and hold them hostage in my home. Little critters.

I haven't ever caught one either! In either WW or ACNL! I've caught a scorpion in both but tarantula? No way.

i only need the tarantula and scorpion to finish my encyclopedia and thanks to my smart mind i didnt play at all last summer so lets just hope

i caught the tarantula and scorpian before i restarted. the hardest thing for me is actually finding them, i've only been chased once by a scorpian
