Buying tarantula help?

i need one and ive been walking around for about ever trying to find one. my town is tarantula barren LOL! i did see one last year but it got me and it never came back and now its june again in my town and ive been looking for about 4 days or so. does anyone have an extra or a good chance to get one in their game and would either sell/trade or let me hang in your town so i can catch one? i dont have a lot of money but i do have some hard to get items. please let me know or add me ok?

You can't trade bugs unfortunately but you could go to someone's town where they currently are to catch one!

drat thats right you cant trade! i forgot about that sorry! i do need someone that can invite me then if they have a good spawn. i think i have too many flowers in my town and that might be whats causing the no tarantula issue

They usually appear in barren areas, try looking in a spot where you have more dirt!

Tarantulas don't appear when your gate is open or you have visitors over (probably since the visitor has nowhere to appear after getting bitten plus it would be weird if the other player was nearby and you just disappeared after getting bitten). So unfortunately, you're on your own.

my gate wasnt open when i was looking for them so no visitors either. they just wont spawn in my town for some reason *or they are very rare...ive only seen 1 in the entire year that ive had this game, and i was searching for them last year as well*. thanks for the tip Mellyjan3!
