Tanning?

It will soon be tanning season again (it starts July 15th I think). I have read many tanning guides online, but none have really answered my questions:

I know to tan one level you must be outside for at least 15 mins, but if you are out for say, an hour, will you tan two levels?

My second question is: if I tan to the shade I want, and then TT to April (to save my dream town in cherry blossom season) will the tan still be there? It should just erase one day/level of tan correct?

I don't think TT backwards will erase level of tan. Only going forward will.

You can level up tan once per day, no matter how much time you are out.
If you tanned 15 minutes, then travel back, your tan still levels up.

You can also get a tan at the island any day of the year.
