Tanning in... The Ocean?

I've been doing the diving trick to try to get PWPs, and I've been wondering whether or not sitting out there contributes to a tan. Thanks!

Yes you can tan in the water because your player moves when the jellyfish hit you.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure all it takes is just being outside without an umbrella or hat.

YES IM SO FREAKING TAN NOW IVE BEEN DOING THE DIVING TRICK FOR A WHOLE WEEK AND I THINK IM AS TAN AS I CAN GET HOW DO I LOSE IT

but you get so many pwps from doing it so its worth it. plus if u actually want a tan then u get 2 for the price of 1

Actually, if you go as far as you can into the corner that the dock creates (the one that's on the side that Kapp'n is not), there is a small area that is a safe zone from jellyfish.

Also, certain hats prevent you from getting a tan, so if you really wanted to avoid it, I'd get some hats.
