Tangy's name. Looking for a general consensus if possible! :)

What do you think - is it Tang-ee like the flavor or Tan-gee like a tangerine?

Feel free to share pics of Tangy if you have her on your Island to add some cuteness to the thread discussion!

i've always pronouced it tang ee
like the flavor, never really thought about it like this so maybe i've been saying it wrong this whole time haha

I've always figured that it was pronounced like the first option, as in the word tangy, referring to the flavor. I'd never really considered the tangerine aspect that was mentioned here. I'll still stick with the pronunciation I've always used though.

I always said it as Tangy like in tangerine (with the "j" sound) but see so many people saying Tangy with the "g" sound.

i-
i see no difference in either of these-
im so confused

Tangy with the hard "g" sound is what I called her... maybe cause she's a tangerine and those are tangy.... wait...
lol I've never considered calling her like a tangerine before so this is really making me think

if you think it's pronounced "tan-gee" then I am going to beat you up.

just a friendly warning.

please be gentle at least.

to be my fair, my excuse is that i know someone irl that's nicknamed tangy but everyone pronounces it like "tan-gee".

I've always thought that Tangy's name was a play on this stuff. It tasted like a powdered version of Sunny D....and yes,it was tangy(not tan-gee).
OMG! I was about to say that i say it like tangy because of this product. I dont like the way it tastes but it was all over commercials so it stuck in my head.
