Talking to Isabelle when you first step off the train

You know when you reset, Isabelle talks to you about being the mayor, and you are given choices on how to answer like "You're Confused" or "Am I in the right town?" Does what you choose determine something later? If so, what?


On a side note, I finally choose a map after 4 days.

It has a different reaction from her depending on what you say, but you'll become mayor either way. x)

as others have said, it doesnt determine anything. its just different options, for different reactions from her.

Thank you so much for the offer, but I'm trying to make it a goal to obtain everything on my own without buying it from other people.

I can just imagine Isabelle asking you those questions, then after you answer them, she quickly paints the town hall before you even go there. Or maybe even talking to Tom Nook with a Walkie Talkie to change it.

It doesn't change anything as far as I know but it would be neat if it did!

I always though it would determine something like the fruit your town has or which side the Museum is on the Main Street. One of those things no one notices? But now knowing it does nothing makes me feel a bit stupid :v
