I remember when I was 14 and I played Tales of Symphonia for the GameCube. After that game, I find myself getting the other Tales series games after that.

Does anyone around here play the Tales series games?

If so, which one have you played and what did you enjoy most about it?

=3

Probably my favorite RPG series.

ToS is weird, though. I've notice that combat-wise, it's really the odd one out of the games.
ToS2 is more like the rest of the series, even though the monster system isn't as fun as having a party of characters.

I'm playing ToTA right now, I think it's my favorite of the three. Menus that make sense, customizable without being too complex, and 6 characters is the perfect amount. Also, every character is play-able, unlike Raine and Genis who can ONLY cast spells to do damage.
And the entire cast is awesome.

Yes I must agree with you. I really miss the cell-shaded style though. But then they don't look like chibis and they actually look like people in ToTA. XD

ToTA was an amazing game. I really like the fonon system as well which allows you to cast/perform different types of artes and spells. I also enjoy playing with Natalia.

ToV for the XBOX360 is very unique in terms of game play and style. A little of the cell shading comes back giving it an anime-ish feel, and there is more detail in the character's appearance so they don't look like chibi people. XD

I need the box to play ToV, but it's one the list.

Right after I beat ToTA.
And Persona 4.
And FFX
And FFX-2.
Ooh that might take some time. I've still yet to get through FFX-2. XD

Yeah, that's why I'm not rushing out to get it now.
I can wait.

No. Move ToV to the top of the list right now.
You like ToV?
Yeah.

I also have ToS, but I haven't got the second one yet.
The second one was quite different from what I'd expect.

Especially coming from such an amazing prequel, ToS2 will take some time adjusting to.

I played ToS through three times together with my little bro =P Loved the game! I'm in Europe, so we might not get ToS2, I heard... :'(
