Anyone else here play the Tales of games?
I just finished playing Tales of Xillia, and I'm practically dying just lying here waiting for the second installment. (I didn't like the ending, though. *Pouts*)
I've also religiously played Tales of Symphonia and ToS: DNW. Still have my Wii probably just for those games.
(And Sonic Adventure 2) but to the point!

Anyone else? :3

Only played Abyss for 3DS.. and one of the worst.

I wish they could cut the VA crap and sub it instead. OWAIT PEOPLE CANT READ...

i'm a fairly big fan of the Tales Franchise.

i've played Destiny, Phantasia, Eternia, World, Graces, Legendia, and Symphonia (personal fave :3)

really wanna play Abyss since it was for the 3DS cuz i've heard from some of my friends it's had one of the great storylines. kinda tough to find it in stores anymore tho :|

Yeah, especially if you are in the EU region.. JRPG's aren't that big here.

My best friend has been recommending the series to me for awhile, but I've been so apathetic and blegh that I haven't gotten around to it until literally a couple days ago.

I'm starting with Vesperia for the 360. At first I wasn't all too into it for some reason, but I very quickly warmed up to it to the point where I stayed up until four in the morning last night playing it. The battle system is just so much fun, and I very much like the characters so far.

If it doesn't end up disappointing me for some reason, I think it'd be safe to say they have a new fan on their hands. However, I don't have a PS3/PS2, and probably won't be able to afford one, so there's a good chunk of the series I'm missing.

I have Abyss on the 3DS (it took me like a year to find it?? fml europe)
it's really good! but I got a glitch and got stuck at some part (my 3DS power died during some search in a desert? An event was supposed to occur in the desert to make the story continue but after that the event never happened again, and I was eternally stuck at that point. ): )

The rest of them look cool but I don't have the consoles for them D=

Tales of is one of my favorite serie!

I've played Phantasia, Symphonia (my first and favorite), Symphonia 2, Vesperia, Graces f, Abyss (on 3DS) and Xillia.
Can't wait for Xillia 2 and Zestiria!

I've played Symphonia, Symphonia's utterly laughable sequel, Abyss, Graces f, and Xillia, while I've seen Vesperia played through. I own a used Legendia, but haven't gotten around to playing it. Something about Abyss just didn't click with me after beating it. It's pacing is all over the place with the incessant backtracking towards the end and mostly unlikable characters until they finally have some character growth also towards the end. Didn't feel the succinct progression I feel in other titles. I still enjoyed it though.

My favorite is probably Graces or Xillia so far, but I'm itching for Xillia 2 and Zestiria.

I'm still playing through Tales of Xillia and Tales of the Abyss, sadly I've put them both on the backburner while I beat games I found more interesting at the time. Love the games though, really ought to finish them.

This is a series I really want to get into, but all of the games are coming out on PS3 now.

I waited for three years for Graces to come out on Wii, but it never happened. ._.
This summer, I plan to get a PS3 to get my fix of Tales. I've only played Dawn of the New World. It wasn't bad. But I feel that the other games would be so much better to play.

So for summer I need to get Graces f, Xillia and Tales of Symphonia. And I will not be buying Symphonia for Gamecube, too expensive.

I love the series, but its been a while since I played one. I used to love Tales of Symphonia especially.

In its abxsence I played Star Ocean: The Last Hope on Xbox360, which was awesome.

saw some for psp yesterday .. kinda icky about getting it since most newer has terrible storyline and voice acting unless you can switch between english and jap(like bravely default)

Haven't really caught up with the latest Tales of games. The last one I played was Xilia 2, and even though it wasn't much compared to the first game, it was still pretty good... except for the silent as heck protagonist.

OHHHMYGOODNESS thank you for this thread!!! <3 I'm currently playing Vesperia and Hearts R for the first time on ps3/vita right now but for faves....that's difficult because I really loved Graces/Xillia/Xillia 2/Zestiria XD ^^; A lot I know...I can't wait for Zestiria's english release! Just hoping I can snag a CE because I missed out on the Japanese CE

Annnd still looking forward to playing some of the older ones as Symphonia was my first one way back when on gamecube!
