So...new Tim Burton film. Came out a few weeks ago...

Did anyone see it? I'm sure some of you have heard of the old Broadway play. This is Burton's...I suppose you could say "version" of it.

It's the bloodiest musical, and the bloodiest film, I've ever seen in my entire life. Though, I really liked it, and reccomend it to any Musical or Tim Burton fan.

Yeah...nor did I. But, I'm a big Tim Burton fan, so I couldn't really miss out here.

Plus, dispite the gross storyline, it was at one time a Broadway play. So I figured it couldn't be too bad.

But yeah. Very bloody.

Apparently you've never heard of "Cats"

...

...

*shudder*

Anyway, I really want to see it, I think I'm going to sometime this weekend maybe, if I get my car all fixed up and through his emissions test... Poor guy.

But yeah it looks interesting, and Tim Burton has put out some great works before, so I don't think he'll let down with this one, I've heard nothing but good from friends who saw it.

I HATE morbid, gory movies. I can stand my own blood, but I can't stand anyone elses, real or fake.

I'm not a big fan of gory movies either. It's not that I can't look at other peoples blood, I just don't like them.

Plus, I hate going to get my hair cut already, without watching a movie about evil shaving...

I haven't seen it yet, I might rent it once it comes out on video though. Tim Burton's a good movie director and most of the actors and actresses in the movie are good as well, so hopefully the movie will be that way as well.

I really don't like that much blood and gore, but I really want to see this movie, because Tim Burton is a directing and movie making genius.

I don't like blood and gore at all. But in this movie, even though theres a lot of it, it's almost cartoon-ish. Tim Burton himself said that people who don't really like blood will probably still get the idea and maybe be OK with it.

SLIGHT SPOILER FOLLOWS

It wasn't the worst...you can see the bloodiest scene in the film on YouTube (even though it's dark and you can't really see whats going on) if you type in "Alan Rickman's Death Scene in Sweeney Todd", or something along those lines.

Oh, and incase this hasn't already been mentioned, yeah...the guy that played Borat is in this movie.

I've heard of the musical or play Sweeney Todd and heard how horror like it is but I've never seen it before. And I definitely will not see the movie at all...

WHAAAAT?! Sascha Baron Cohen is in this movie?!

Now I MUST see it.
I think he plays the mayor, but I'm not sure if thats a major role, or not. I know he does sing a song, though.

So I saw it tonight with a few friends, it's amazing, The story, the acting, the singing... it doesn't feel like a musical at all, it feels like a movie that has singing in it.

I really loved the ending, it's everything they tried to do in "Carrie" but couldn't quite pull off...

Anyone who can take a little fake blood I'd recommend this to them. The story alone is amazing, let alone the fact that it's Tim Burton.

I'm fine with gore and everything, I was cheering all the way through the 300 battle scenes, but I don't like horror movies, especially ones where someone does something like, really, really demented, such as what Prop said they did in the movie (I didnt say it since it's probably a spoiler :P)

By the sounds of it, it sounds like a movie with pretty sad moments, and other than corny ones in chick flicks, I hate sad movies, I was pretty depressed for a few days after I am Legend, it's not much of a sad movie, but it had it's moments.

I don't mind the kind that make you jump in your seat, but I hate the kind of movie where you sit there shivering all day after you watch it, being paranoid because you think that whatever happened in the movie is gonna happen in real life.

You needn't fear the daemon barber of fleet street.

Really, it's not even gross... there's just a lot of fake blood flying everywhere, the movie is really stylized, I loved the lighting. Yes, the ending is kinda sad... I guess... depending on your perspective...
