In what way? They're completely different. That's like saying Super Mario World is a remake of Super Mario Bros.

Why do you think they are called
"NEW Super Mario Bros"
And not Super Mario Bros 4?
Or, Super Mario World 3?

Having "New" in the title doesn't make it a remake... Last time I checked, there wasn't Blue Shells, Mini Mushrooms, and Mega Mushrooms in SMB. And no Bowser Jr., either.

I'm just saying, NSMB and Mario Galaxy are both based off the original concept with a few new things added.

Not getting it its just a remake of a not that good game BUT NEW MARIO BROTHERS WII THATS ONE I WANT!!!

New Mario Brothers is a Remake of the DS one which is a remake of the NES one.

So far after reading comments on youtube trailers and stuff, I don't see why so many people are looking down on this game.
Mario Galaxy was a moderatly good game that had terrible replay value but it was very fun the first time playing it. A brand new adventure like that with YOSHI will surely be enjoyable.

gosh, this game looks AMAZING! not only because of yoshi, but because it's another mario galaxy game! (i thought the first mario galaxy was the best game ever!!)
