Super easy way to catch bees (No more Puffy Face!)

First off, I apologize if this is well-known already (though if so my Google-Fu must be really bad tonight).

So I ended up discovering a way to pretty much guarantee you catch a bee quickly and painlessly and I wanted to share



First off, a little observation I made: When you share a tree from the SW corner (the blue square) whatever may drop falls to the SE corner (yellow square). So to make catching bees easy, all you need to do is have your net at the ready and shake every tree from the SW corner.



Once the hive falls, your character will look in that direction in sheer terror. Start mashing that A button as fast as you can and....



Boop! the bees flies right into your net! I've been able to replicate this like 5-6 times now in a row, so it's pretty safe to say it works

catching bees give me so much anxiety, so i just like to hide behind a tree, shake it, and the bees (senpai jk) doesn't really notice me at first and i go around and catch it really fast.

You could open the gate at the train station to avoid the bees, while you shake trees for bells and 2 random furniture items.

It used to be much more difficult to catch bees, but since the update allowed you to shake trees whilst already carrying your net it's much easier.

No, no you're doing it all wrong! They're supposed to be caught with your face. How else is your husbando/waifu supposed to give you medicine and make you feel important?

it's a million times easier thanks to the WA update allowing us to shake trees while holding tools, isn't it

i already can catch bees without any guides. it's simple

Nah I don't think it's simple with the WA update even if you try following random site guides. No need to be rude to the OP.

I didn't know you have to shake the tree from a certain angle. I always shake the trees from the front-facing angle (like straight on at the tree), and if there's a bee, my mayor automatically face the bee. I just press "A" like crazy and I catch the bee every time. Is this not so? A few times when I shook a tree from an odd angle, I'll end up hitting the net against the tree... so I get stung. So now I always shake a tree straight on.

I guess it depends how fast you can react from different angles and so on? I mean I got a bee by chance and I don't really remember how I did it, but sure it made things easier with actually holding the net.
