Caroline (キャロライン, Caroline?) is a normal squirrel villager in the Animal Crossing series. She originally appeared in the Japan-only release Dōbutsu no Mori + and made her international debut in Animal Crossing for GameCube as an Islander named Bliss. Following the release of Wild World she has collectively maintained the name of Caroline throughout the series. The name is frequent in real life. The link between the name and the character may have been adhered from sciurus carolinensis, the derived Latin name for the Eastern gray squirrel. She appears on the cover of Mountain Song.

Caroline's appearance has been tweaked slightly since her earlier appearances. Caroline is a dusky red orange squirrel with yellow curly hair and big, blue eyes; her pupils are black and she has emerald eyeliner. Her arms and legs are also light orange and are slightly tipped with a cream white. She has a yellow swirling pinstripe on her tail. She has a tiny nose that is almost the same color as her face. Her mouth appears unhappy - although she is always very happy to see you. Her ears are bright red and a peachy, chalky orange on the inside. She wears the Gelato Shirt that is horizontally striped red, green, and white.

Caroline is a normal villager, like Sally and Hazel. She is very friendly, therefore, a great friend. She will often ask you for pink furniture as she establishes that she will leave room to walk, of course. She likes furniture from the Lovely Series, although there is none in her house when she first moves in. Sometimes, she will get naggy if you cannot find her any of the pink furniture she is asking for - she will just keep asking for some everyday but obviously not in a rude way. She gets along with most of the characters in the game, but most likely will only be acquainted with the snooty or cranky villagers. She prefers, most of all, the animals that are normal, lazy, jock and peppy since they seem to be a lot nicer. She is also very sensitive. She is another normal villager who mentions Moppina. She is a very kind and generous person (as her type states for normal can also be interpreted as sweet) who rarely gets angry. She often randomly states how much she loves her town and has a passion for nature as she is normally known to talk about flowers and gardening.

In her house, she usually has the Ceramic Tile flooring and the Ocean Vista Wallpaper. She fills her house with a Life Ring, a Surfboard, a beach chair, a basketball hoop, a candy machine, a red sofa, and a Kiddie Stereo that plays DJ K.K. She may eventually ask the player for some Lovely Furniture when she begins to clean out all of her original furniture, leaving her with a low HRA score that she may get depressed over if the player talks to her. Her house's theme might be a reference to what she used on the island in Animal Crossing.

Bones (トミ, Tommy?) is a lazy dog villager in the Animal Crossing series. He has appeared in every game to date. His name probably originated from the fact that dogs famously love to chew bones. His catchphrase is from the noise dogs make. His picture quote is hinting towards his lazy personality, as lazy villagers often love to eat.

Bones is a black and white dog with a single brown spot. His whole body is white with dark tips on his paws and ears. He has a black nose and a curly smile somewhat like a real dog. Bones initially wears the caveman tunic.

As a lazy villager, Bones will be easy to get along with due to his laid back personality. Like all lazy villagers, he shares an interest in food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxation or for food (fishing). He will get along well with other villager types such as the normal and peppy villagers. He may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, who do not understand the reason behind the lazy lifestyle.

Bones' house has a few items from the Kiddie Series, such as the Kiddie wall which matches his Green Floor. He also has one gyroid, a computer, a writing desk, and an office chair. Bones has no stereo in his house initially, but once he obtains a one, it will play K.K. Ragtime.

Deirdre (ナディア, Nadia?) is an uchi deer villager who is introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Her name is of Irish origin, and is also a pun on the fact that she is a deer. She appears on the album cover for Soulful K.K.

Deirdre is a gray deer with black eyes, nose, and hooves. She has brown hair and eyebrows with pink inner ear fur and wears pale pink blush as well as pink eye shadow, the latter of which can only be noticed when she blinks or closes her eyes. Like a deer found in the wild, she has white markings around her eyes and mouth. She initially wears the Fall Leaf Shirt, which matches her house.

Deirdre is an uchi ("big sister") villager. She will have a tendency to be blunt with the player, teaching them how to "always win at fights" and ways to relax and will also act like a caring big sister to the player once they become close friends. Deirdre may get along with jock villagers who share her love of sports, and lazy villagers for how laid-back they are. However, she may conflict with snooty and cranky villagers, who spread rumors about others and are rude towards others.

Deirdre's house is themed similar to that of a forest during autumn. Many of the furniture in her house consists of pieces from the Modern Wood Series, such as the bed, sofa and a shelf with a Vintage Radio playing K.K. Cruisin'. She has the Autumn Wall and the Birch Flooring as her choice of flooring and wallpaper.

Original Deirdre is up for adoption for 50 BTB!
