Suggestions for color themed rooms??

i just made a second player in my town today and i was thinking about basing her room themes around each color of the rainbow (a red room, orange room, yellow room, green room, blue room and purple room). im also thinking about maybe making one room black&white but i'll have to replace one of the rainbow colors with it.

anyway, i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for furniture/flooring/wallpaper would look great for each colored room?? and what secondary colors would look nice to pair with each main color? like im thinking of pairing brown with my green and/or red room maybe.

I like to use [url]www.moridb.com[/URL] to put together catalogs/lists of all items I think would look good in a room. It may take time to go through all 36 pages of furniture, and some of wallpaper/flooring, but it helps a lot. I'm sure you'll also find it very useful and more efficient, rather than creating a spontaneous list of furniture from random suggestions that you may or may not be able to use to create a room arrangement you find suitable.

As for the ones that can be customized to certain colors, you can find a full list here plus the customization options here {x}, and some images here {x}, though the latter link doesn't have *every* furniture customization shown, nor the welcome amiibo updates, but still a very good range of the more common customizables.

Some of my favorite color combinations are green & pink or orange, red and yellow or purple, yellow and brown, purple and pink, and blue and white

Some furniture sets i think are nice by color: Gorgeous series (red), princess series (pale blue), harvest series (purple/pink), green series for green or Leif's series

Yellow and beige: Polka-Dot set including floor and wall, furniture customized caramel beige color.

oh man thanks so much! i have an account with moridb but i would never even thought of using it to organize my rooms, that's actually extremely helpful! i'm very excited and overwhelmed with how to put all this together but that's a great start. and thanks so much for your other suggestions

The simple sofa and chair can be refurbished in red, blue, yellow, and green.

The natural chair and sofa can be orange, turquouse, yellow, or olive green. I personally like it in bright orange.

The common chair can change into a bunch of nice colors too. Even black. These could be used around a dining room table.

The simple panel can be refurbished with clothing or patterns. You might find a shirt or dress that has a nice color you want. Cyrus can also make it this nice black and gray that you might like for your black room.

The corner box sofa can be pink, blue, and I'm not sure what else.

I listed these because they go great added with other sets and might have the colors you're looking for.

The box sofas can also be black, white and red through customizing.

The Alpine set also has great versatility. If you use your own pattern to customize, you can update your decor by simply editing your pattern, no need to even bring it to Cyrus.
