I just woke up to find out that teddy will be moving infront of my house.
His house building construction is literally 2 feet Away from the front of my house
Is there any way to stop him?
I think if you've already saved your game, you do not have anything else to do, unfortunately! But if you have not saved him yet, get out (yes, without saving) and create a new Villager (who will not be mayor of your village, just live in it). Walk with the new Villager in your village, see where Teddy's house is and if you are in a good place, choose where to live with this Villager and save your game.
You can delete it later by choosing to play with it and going to the "I need help first" option and then the option to destroy your house, something like that.
Repeat this process until the new resident's home is wherever you want and then save the game with it, delete it and enter your mayor. I even use a lot of it to choose where new residents will appear, because once the same thing happened to me, a squirrel just started to live in front of my house and an elephant began to live in front of the exit of the village (I can not remember their name , Grr).

i see you recently joined the forum, so if you've been visiting and getting visitors and didn't have 10 villagers before he moved in, you probably got him from somebody's void- that's why i always avoid going online with other people unless i have 10 villagers, or else sometimes random villagers move in and ughg i'm always unprepared like you were
at least you have teddy with his brock eyebrows!! i got timbra as a random move in when i first started using the forum ;;;;;
I hate when villagers move close to the mayor's house- my last town I had the mayor house out in the middle of nowhere, no villagers close by and someone moved right in front of it. It is super annoying, and I wish we could control where people can move.
you kinda can! just throw patterns spaces everywhere but a specific 3x3 spot and they'll probably go there! Of course, I'm pretty sure a lot of you know about this already
Just scan him out with one of the amiibo cards. If you don't have a way to scan things in, then you'll just have to wait until he pings to move. I'd say befriend him as fast as possible for the highest chance of having him ask to move.
I'm sorry that he is moving so close to your house. That is the worst. At least it is not a terrible villager. Teddy is pretty OK I think (though I haven't had him in my town before).
i can relate. i made the mistake of inviting sparro to my town through the campground. my house is near the train station and he just so happened to move almost right behind me. so i've got this ugly house blocking part of the sidewalk-y place in front of the station and the gate that leads to main street. this was before i knew about the reset trick so now i'm stuck with him for awhile
You've obviously already saved, so the quickest way to move him out is to get an amino card and ask the character move there.
Teddy would have moved out by the next day, but if you want to keep him, I don't really know what to say.
I hope you work it out because I absolutely hate when they move in an inconvenient place.
Although there is a brick path, a villager moved really close to my Re-tail, and it honestly looked disgusting because it moved into a really tight place in my path where I was keeping Jacobs Ladders.
Needless to say, he was gone within a day. XD xx
