So I was doing math homework and I ran across this problem. I don't understand it and If I ask my parents they might get mad at me because I didn't finish my HW and I'm on the comp.....

If anyone is willing to help then TY!!!!!

Problem:
Each drawer in Monique's nightstand has a volume of 6 cubic decimeters. Each drawer in her dresser is twice as long, twice as wide, and twice as deep, What is the volume of ONE of Monique's dressers?

How can you find the volume of a dresser if you don't know how many dresser drawers there are ._.

I dunno.

My math is graphing inequalities.

@iFly

It's going to have between 1-10 drawers (Depending on size.)

Isn't it 12 cubic centimeters? I know I'm probably wrong from mental math, but basically you figure out the three dimensions of the nightstand's drawers then you times those by 2 and you figure out your volume.

Btw, the ONE of Monique's dressers is just confusing you obviously so don't pay attention to it.

Elly You got 1728 my two friends got 48.....
That's what I got 0:

V = lwh
6 = lwh
You can only identify that they have to be the same length amirite?

So 6 = l^3

Reverse that

Cube square root of 6 = 1.8....

Double it

1.8 = 3.6405

Then since they are all the same really cube it.
