I went to Retail today, and noticed a carpet. It was the Sloppy Carpet, for sale from Hans (Thanks pal!) I quickly bought it, and noticed.....it is MY room in real life EXACTLY!

Also I noticed. After a villager leaves, any item they had for sale there, is still there, but it changes who the seller is!

If you empty their houses out they start dropping weird random items along with sloppy and cardboard at a fairly high rate. Great way to get hold of sloppy stuff. Merry must've dropped half the sloppy set before she left my town, and Barold's doing it now, most recent from him was a sloppy chair - which was great because I needed a second one.

I didn't know about the owner changing, that's interesting! I usually just buy and resell everything that pops up in there immediately (because I like to empty their houses out so they put sloppy stuff up...)

Well Clay has almost all his default furniture, and JUST put up a Sloppy Chair. So it can't be just from emptying their home. Bam's is almost empty though and he has yet to drop one off at retail.

I left one of Sprinkle's items there as an experiment after she said she wanted to move, and I checked it after it said that Ankha was selling it.

I'm in a conundrum of my own, I REALLY want to finish the sloppy set and I don't even have a single piece of the cardboard set, but I also don't want any of them to mess up their houses I spent MONTHS perfecting, so I keep Retail full of my own stuff so that none of them can sell anything. :p

Why don't you just buy it on the Re-Tail board?

I'm trying to cycle in my dreamies. Those are some good ways to take advantage of villigers that you're not interested in keeping around. Bahaha! stealing villigers furnture and selling it to Reese. Thats pretty shady eh? lmao!

Before I came to TBT, I didn't know the Sloppy series was unorderable so when Genji put up a Sloppy TV in Re-Tail I bought it and then resold. ._.

I do remember Tiffany was selling her Sleek Bed and after she moved, it disappeared from Re-Tail. Then again this was her default furniture.

My villagers' furniture always disappears after they move out. But yeah, I guess it's always been their default stuff.

Clay has about 80% of his original stuff in his house, the 2 tribal masks, the fire pit, whatever that item he has 2 of with one on each side of the fire pit, and Ptera Skull. He has only gotten rid on one or two things.

He keeps putting up random stuff at retail, despite having almost all of his stuff.
