I am really stuck on my entrance/town hall area and I am so frustrated, especially since I reset my town a few weeks ago and thought got my dream map (or so I thought)😭 I can't think of anything to do without it looking awkward or boxy. My airport and town hall are 13 spaces away from each other and at a diagonal angle (shown below. Note that the diagram just shows my airport and town hall location and my river mouths). I know I want the museum on the right (about where it is in the diagram) so it is in the flyover and by my celestial beach area, but again, every time I do symmetry, it looks/feels boxy and artificial and when I do asymmetry, it looks like a 5 year old did it. Do I restart again? I have pretty much everything I want including:
-Blue airport
-Apples
-Long dock on left
-big rock structures and rocks for decorating
-big sized peninsula
-airport and town hall out of the way

Any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Im jealous of your long dock and large peninsula! I obviously have a different map but mine doesn't really line up either. I tried to create symmetry right off the airport but block the actual town hall from view so you really can't quite tell what's ahead. Have you tried creating some sort of tiered waterfall in front of it and using paths to vector people around to access the town hall area from the side? I know I've been to islands with similar situations and many of them did big cliffs and just hid the airport from view!

The first few seconds of this video is kind of what I'm talking about!

I boxed my airport in with cliffs. The top of the cliffs have Holly bushes every other space with a little 1 space waterfall between. Then black cosmos around the rest. I customized simple panals to make a wall and used a custom design to make marble flooring. Then I put a valiant statue in the center and have slowly been adding seating.
