How often do you use streetpass? Now that the game is older, do you still get some new houses to your streetpass neighborhood?

How often? what is your routine with carrying around your DS? Do you live in a populated area such as a large city, or a smaller town (as I'm sure that makes an impact on how many street passes you get)?

What is the weirdest thing you've seen in one of your street pass houses?

I'll reply later, but I was curious to see how everyone would respond/what their experience/relationship with streetpass is!

I've actually never had a single streetpass house or anything. I walk around with my DS all the time but nothing happens. Guess I'll never get a street pass badge xD

oh wow! That's a bit disappointing. I suppose that i only have a 4 homes in my neighborhood, though, and I lived on a college campus when I got about 3 of them, and one was from my brother, lol.

I walk with mine fairly often when I go out, though, if anything for the play coins. I really wish I had encountered more, though! It is such a fun feature, but I don't know how often I pass those who have the game/keep their DS around with them the same way that I do.

I live in a fairly small city, so I guess it's possible that I just don't go places that are that populated frequently enough for it.

there's not really anybody who plays New Leaf around here, so I don't actually have any houses in my showcase. :(

Most of the houses in my Happy Home Showcase come from that time Nintendo released a bunch via spotpass. Other than that, I barely have any streetpassed houses. The other couple come from Gamestop

My DSes usually travel in my backpack/shoulder bag. After a couple of mishaps I learned never to carry a ds around in a pocket no matter how secure itay seem.

I'm in the suburbs of a major capital city so whenever I take my DSes out I'll almost always get at least one streetpass. Wandering in the cbd will usually get 3-6 total but only around half that that will appear in ACNL - going to a video game event or even store improves these numbers significantly. Outside of my own (I have 3 devices) and my sister (1), I have 2-3 people I streetpass with a lot within a few blocks of me and 2 of them play ACNL.

My showcase is full and cycles the oldest house out whenever I get a new streetpass. I don't know how many I've had come and go over the years, and so many of the house just look alike and blend together.

I think the weirdest thing I saw was a creepy toy room that had been set up to look a bit like a horror movie scene. Lots of dolls placed all around, quite a claustrophobic atmosphere - and a number of axes lol.

i always walk around carrying my ds in my hands for optimum™streetpass™efficiency™ at all times and i go to relay points for bants - i have tons of ugly streetpass houses tbh

I have gotten a decent amount of houses, but only when I go to the busier town that I live near. I'm in a small town now and nobody plays out here lol. I used to love getting houses so that I could buy all the furniture, but now that I have almost all the furniture I want I don't really care about that anymore. I guess I will though once I start working towards badges.

The weirdest thing I have seen was this house that had a basement FULL of sea bass. The whole floor covered in them. And along the back wall they had QR's up that read "welcome to Hell." haha

Since they shut down the relay points in Scandinavia, I hardly ever get any streetpasses. And when I do, the person likely doesn't play acnl. I don't live in a huge city (population of around 175.000), but I feel like I should be getting streetpasses more often. I always carry my 3ds with me.

But because I've used homepass quite a lot in the past, my showcase is completely full. I don't bother with it much these days, because it tends to mess with my internet connection.

I take my ds with me every time I go to a big event like the games world or big manga/anime events. I have the space full of houses, but most of them are 1/2 room small houses x.x

I restarted my town a couple months ago, so I don't have as many Streetpass houses now as I did then. Before I reset though, I had probably half of the place filled with houses. Part of it was that I worked at a Gamestop, and part of it was also that I'm a college student who was on campus for 4 days a week. The cafeteria is where people hang out to play video games; on several occasions, students have brought in huge TVs and had impromptu gaming "festivals" (not competitions, but just people playing together for the fun of it). Since the cafeteria is also my main hangout, I get a lot of Streetpass from there.
Since I reset, I've only gotten about 10 houses, but I'm not on campus as much this semester.

The weirdest house I saw was a house that was all mermaid/cute themed, except for one room that was entirely demon traps from the TV show Supernatural. They were everywhere; the walls, the floor, the furniture patterns, everything. I love Supernatural, but it was a liiiiiitle weird even for me.

I had a few in my old town but I haven't gotten a single one since December. I did take my 3DS to the mall a few times but no dice.

I've literally never found someone on Streetpass ever. I guess my city is boring and no one here is a nerd like me oh well.

I do get some streetpasses. My in almost full actually but thats because i went to the anime expo in cali so that was amazing lol. Though in my neighborhood id probably wouldnt get as much. When the game first came out yea but now not so much, unless the person is re-addicted to acnl again or something.

When I lived in LA, I got so many streetpasses. But I just moved to rural area, so i don't think I'll ever match that again.
