Storing your turnips... at the beach!?

Okay, let's make this short!
I've been wondering if i can just put all my turnips at the beach without making it rot before i sell them?
I have an empty storage, but i still want more profit i guess... (my other characters' storages are for furnitures & clothes)
So, anyone else put their turnips outside? Thanks!

They only rot if you TT past the next Sunday or backwards.
So yes, it's fine to store them on the beach.

But I must warn you. If you put a lot of things on the ground, it messes up the perfect town rating.
