Stories of thievery

Now I've had my fair share of thuggery, but I have one awful story that happened several years ago,and some of you have heard it before, but here we go.
So I met a guy at CT named Doug, he was cool, we played some tours, he bought me a wet suit, even gave me 10k igb. So I invited him to my town, and some other people came, everything was cool. But suddenly, he says he had to go, and to read the bulletin board after he left. With his trust I did so (oh boy here we go) and guess what it says?

HAHA I STOLE FLOWERS JAKE SUCK MY D!CK!!!

in a panic I ran across town, all my flowers were fine, EXCEPT FOR MY BLUE ROSE GARDEN, THEY WERE ALL GONE.
I'm a dude, and I literally cried in my couch with my parents in the room next to me.
Keep in mind this was several years ago, so thanks if your going to offer help. I'm sick if this stupid crap in animal crossing, ever since this happened I've never let anyone in my town out of sight, and it sucks that I do.

I'm lucky enough that I've never had a bad wifi experience. I've been wifing on AC since WW and used to have a strong network of likeminded friends who played. We moved onto all the new generations of games together and always get back together to wifi.

I've never been stolen from, but my friend comes to my town sometimes, and thinks she can do whatever she wants. She runs across my flowers and pulls up dead ones, even though I've told her multiple times not to. Honestly, I have to supervise her, and I prefer going to her town for that very reason.

I always feel bad that I stalk people in my town when I get visitors LOL but I guess I'm not the only one. But no, that's happened to me before.

One time I invited a random person on Club Tortimer to my town, after I visited theirs and they gave me a crown and a wetsuit. So, they were going around in my town, and they just left without saying anything. I didn't think much of it, except when I went over to my golden roses. Some kind person on here (Thank you whoever you are I forgot your username!!!) gave me some golden roses, and guess where they were? GONE. All gone. She took them all. I've bought/traded for more, but it just really irritated me.

There's another story about two french girls who took a ton of stuff over the course of a month, but I won't bring it up.

Btw, if you ever need blue roses, let me know! I have tons I'll share for free ^^

What a horrible story! I have never been stolen from, and I'm very thankful for that. But, I've never really traded with people outside of TBT, and on here, the fact that you can't be anonymous pretty much eliminates the fear of getting stolen from (though I'm sure it's happened.)

I've traded with a lot of people and I've never had anything stolen. But with the exception of a few people that I trust, I've never hung out in a town for more than just trading. Everyone does their business and that's it.

No one has ever stolen from me. I don't play much with other people, but anyone who comes to my town stays with me. I don't like the idea of people wandering around on their own.

I get stolen from a lot... In fact yesterday a friend of a friend of a friend decided to steal gold roses, Jacob's Ladders, white carnations, baskets of perfect fruit, and money from my only money tree while I was on BRB.

To be honest it's usually my fault for adding people I don't know and putting too much trust into them. I don't stalk my visitors or anything like that but I really should.

I've never been robbed.

But once I bought several millions worth of items in another town's retail. Only to later have that mayor accuse me of stealing and cheating because she "didn't get the bells". I just had to explain that the bells arrive the following day in her account.

If I recall correctly I have had things stolen from me before, because I remember being very wary of the people on this forum before I fully switched to The Bell Tree after the Dutch Animal Crossing Forum was shut down. I had the idea that this forum was full of hackers and I didn't trust such people because they cheated. I was slightly scared by the idea that they knew how to hack actually.
This was back when I joined in the City Folk days though, and I didn't really know the forum very well. I feel like the community is much nicer right now, although (aesthetic) hacking is rather common. That might just be because I know the community better now though.

I find it really disgusting that people think they can steal from you,I know that it's just a virtual game but that's not the point.If I invite people to my town,I expect them to look around but not just take what they want.We've all put a lot of hard work into our game and it's not right that people feel like they are entitled to ruin that.

I'm always very careful about who I allow into my towns. That's why I love the wifi rating system here on the forums, because I can feel better about letting visitors from here out of my sight to go exploring my town.

I've never been stolen from, thankfully. I hope no one ever steals from me, too, because if you see something you want in my town I'll probably let you have it for free, just ask me. (Anyone who's played with me can confirm this lmao)

I've never had someone rob me before in Animal Crossing, but that may have to do with the fact that I'm super cautious when it comes to letting people come over to my town. People, if you ever visit someone's town, be polite and follow their rules. If you want to do anything like run or shake a tree and get fruit, just ask. I don't mind people taking fruit, but when they don't ask, it's slightly impolite (unless the host has clearly said you can do whatever you want).

I've never been robbed, but a long time ago my real life friend would come over to my town and she acted like she could do whatever she wanted. She would always kill my flowers and say the villagers did it it.....

I've never been robbed fortunately, but most of times when I get to the island to but CT stuffs, I met a lot of bell beggars which is completely nothing compares to your blue roses thief, that's really awful
