I haven't been on here in ages. I used to have a wii and Animal Crossing city folk. My ex fiancee and I decided that he should keep the wii. I have just bought one as a gift from my parents and made a new town only to find out that the Wii I bought does NOT have the ability to play Game Cube games, which is half of the reason my husband and I bought one.. since the only wii game we play is AC.
After getting no where with Target I was offered by Nintendo to trade the one I have for a GC compatible wii at no charge to me, they are even sending me a box and a shipping label to mail it to them. Awesome
Only problems, I have to wait close to a month after all the shipping and what not and I will loose the town I have just created. Although I have only played 4 days I was able to get the entire Harvest set and a few hybrid flowers as well as a dandy lion I would like to hang on to.
Is there anyone willing to keep my items for me until I receive my new wii? If I can find someone I would like to keep playing and bank some bells for my house upgrades.
As far as I know there's no way to transfer my saved town to an SD card and load it onto the new wii.
