stitches won't move in???

a friend of mine bought me Stitches the other day and I talked to him and he said he would move in my town and everything (the wifi crashed after that, but we saved before it happened and my friend checked on Stitches while he was paying and it showed up as Stitches had moved out) but Stitches isn't moving in my town? ;u; I've timetravelled to February 1st one day at a time now, and Stitches still isn't here!! it's kind of upsetting tbh since he said he'd move in and my friend, y'know, bought him...

does anyone know what's up with that?? will he still move in eventually or is he lost for good ;v; because I was really looking forward to him.

Did your friend save after you talked to him? I heard that when the host saves sometimes the person that talked to the villager won't get them.

Ahh then I have no idea. Maybe just keep TTing forward to see if it took him longer than usual? Maybe you're just missing his plot?

nope! ; u ; the host saved, and then we got an error shortly after and then i just stayed in my town so a potato could pay for him.

so stitches might have possibly glitched out, then? :c

i'm not sure if it was because tangy was moving out around that time although i've never had an issue with a villager moving in while someone else plans to move??? i went back to the current date, i'll try TTing again. unu

Try tting a few more days. If he doesn't show up then, then I have no idea what went wrong.

I am not totally sure but i think merely saving wont get you the villager. The person adopting has to leave the town, either by leaving through train station or the host ending the multi player session. If there was wifi error, the person hosting may have lost stitches ie his house showed moved out but you did not get stitches. I am so sorry. This is why when i trade villagers, i only have one person in town, not two since that increases the chance of some wifi glitch and i leave or end session as quickly as possible.
