A clear void is basically all those villagers that moved out but weren't sent to anyone else's town. Therefore, once you get Stitches, that villager in your void will move to my town, which I would not want.
Dreamy proof is just some sort of sign that you want him.
(You have it already in your sig, "Dream Villagers: Pietro, Stitches, Sally, Brocollo")

Oh ok. How do I know if I have a clear void? I had a villager move out on the 29th of last month.

I only have 8 villagers in my town and I have had 3 or 4 people in my town today.
