Steam Winter Sale 2015

Well, so far I've just bought Plague Inc Evolved, as well as Rust and The Long Dark as a Christmas present for my little brother. Probably going to buy Rocket League later today, and have one last look whether there's anything else I want to buy, having plenty of money this year.

Also, there's an unknown ARG going on at Steam at the moment, do the following to earn the Red Herring badge + 100xp on Steam.

1.Open the steam store in your internet browser. (and log in if you aren't already)

2.Go to the store page of the game called Ikaruga

3. Type SEARCH (Just while on the page, don't move your cursor) and press enter

4. Type 1v7531 in the box that opens

I rather like that the sale is just static the whole time now. I can sleep in and not worry about missing a set of flash sales.
And I can load up everything in my cart right now and see what the damage is gonna be. That's nice.

I haven't really picked up anything yet, unless we're counting a $1 bundle that, surprisingly, had 1 of my top 5 wishlist things in it. But I probably won't get a whole lot this sale. I think my backlog is plenty big as it is, haha.

But I gotta wait a day or two, anyway, and from what I can see the occasional title is still going on sale every now and then. The store page says 10,025 titles on sale now, and (tho I know it's not all games and DLC; movies and software, too) that's still about 40 more than I saw when I got up. There's also a handful of pricing errors already, lol. So I'll see how it's looking tomorrow or somethin'.


I do plan to pre-order Resident Evil 0 during the sale, for the silly bonuses, but that's not on sale, so
Out of the sales on my wishlist, I'll probably shoot for:

• Dark Souls 2: SotFS
• Castaway Paradise (it's like Animal Crossing on PC!)
• Armello (it's half the price on Nuuvem, if anyone else was looking at it)
• Kyn
• King's Quest: Chapter 1 is only a dollar. As a seasoned veteran of the originals, I'll have to get it and try it.
• Maybe Victor Vran and/or The Talos Principle
• And sprinkle a few horror games on top
