Last night I downloaded the game MINDNIGHT off of steam. I played about three rounds before the game froze and I had to force quit. Now whenever I try to open it again the game just crashes upon launch.
The game opens to a black screen with the game's cursor, then it changes to a regular cursor and the game's background pops up and the music starts to play. Though after barely a second has passed the screen will go black again and I'll get my spinning wheel cursor, and the game will crash.
I've tried basically every possible solution I could find ? I verified my game files (plenty of times, actually), uninstalled and reinstalled the game, restarted Steam, restarted my computer, completely deleted the game and redownloaded, the whole works. All have been unsuccessful.
I have an iMac, for reference, with OS X 10.11.1. Actually, I recommended the game to my friend shortly after downloading it, and she's been playing it since with no problems, and she has a Macbook Air. It could be that my computer is older, but I was able to play for about 45 minutes before it first crashed, so I don't know what's wrong with it.
I emailed the game devs but they still haven't gotten back to me. Has anyone else had this same issue or know of a solution?
