What have you guys picked up in the sale? I just bought Half-Life 2: Episodes 1 and 2, Portal, Half-Life 1, Spore, Terraria, Nidhogg, Undertale, and Deus Ex.

Haven't played video games on my PC for months, but just got Tomb Raider (2013), Spelunky, and Her Story because I had been eyeing them for awhile, and they were being sold for dirt cheap as part of a Steam sale ($5 for the first, under $4 for the other two).

Hoping I really enjoy them.

Nothing, I should get some games from my wl though but I'd rather waste quiche on other stuff atm

Garry's Mod to play Prop Hunt!

Garry's Mod is my favorite Steam game! I really only play TTT on it but I've spent ~730 hours playing as of now haha

Undertale, Portal, Portal 2, Grim Fandango Remastered, Skyrim, and Hatoful Boyfriend. (Don't judge me for that last one. Lol)

I picked up Undertale as well because I need to see if this game is as good as everyone says it is, haha. Portal 2 is amazing, and Grim Fandango is one of my favorite games of all time!

I haven't been nearly as excited for this sale as I usually am. I dunno if I've reached a point of jaded from "too many sales/bundles/games" or if Fallout 4 has made me lose all desire to play other things. :v

I did get really stoked to see Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City finally go on sale. It was the only Resident Evil title I did not own on Steam - and this is the first time I've seen it drop in price since I started "re-collecting" my RE collection on Steam. Def nabbed the Complete Pack.

Then Boyfriend swooped in and sent me some stuff from my wishlist. He tells me it's because he hasn't boughted me anything in awhile, lol.
  • Tormentum - Dark Sorrow
  • Ubinota
  • You Must Build a Boat
  • And all of the DLC for Resident Evil 6 and Revelations.

Also took a peek at the Origin sale. Grabbed Dragon Age: Inquisition (just the base game; if I like it, I'll get the GOTY cheaper later on) and The Sims 4 (reviews are totally mixed, but for $25 I'm sure I'll at least spend 10~ hours in the newfangled create-a-sim or something).

hmm

bought never alone, gemini rue (just finished it, was about 3 hours long, but i absolutely recommend it!) invisible inc and bastion

also if u link ur steam trading acc to ur phone # u get a 3%-55% discount on the market btw

mostly bought indie games, i have no interest in the triple A titles atm. besides fallout 4 tho lol

Bought Rust and the Napoleonic Wars dlc for Mount & Blade: Warband. Got Galactic Civilizations 3 off Amazon too which activates on Steam (+ it was ?10 less and came with a soundtrack and dlc pack).

its 5-33%

and its stupidly misleading

I purchased three games. Garry's Mod, Huniepop and Left 4 Dead 2.

I just bought Life Is Strange! I sold a load of trading cards and TF2 items to afford it, but it was worth it in my opinion! I would have got Undertale, but it didn't get discounted that I know of so I couldn't be bothered.

I got Remember Me, Broken Age, The Evil Within, Long Live The Queen, Amnesia: Memories, and Life is Strange.
Sales are pretty much the only times I really buy games so I bought a ton lol.
I was also gonna grab the Executioner dlc for The Evil Within, but I ended up being like 30 cents off soo :/

I bought Skyrim + DLC (Even though I already have Skyrim for PS3 but it's not working properly anymore) and I wanted to buy Elder Scrolls Online but my card didn't work and I didn't make it in time. :(

skyrim legendary edition on pc with the correct mods is a whole difference experience from console

This is so true, Skyrim is beyond amazing even without mods but it's just a whole different thing. I'm usually not like "PC master race" but Skyrim is something you should really experience on PC.

Generally speaking, I'd say that extends to the entirety of Bethesda's Elder Scrolls and Fallout titles, lol.

Mods aside, having the console commands available to 'fix' a good chunk of the bugs is practically a requirement.

NPC won't change his dialogue to advance a quest? Reset him.
Your companion just ran away for no particular reason? Reset them.
NPC fell off a walkway and died, and you need him for a sidequest? Revive him.
Traveled all this way for a special weapon only for it to fall through the ground and disappear forever? No worries, just add the item to your inventory.
You accidentally killed the only facial reconstructive surgeon in the whole game, as he was involved in a sidequest, without the game telling you that ahead of time? Just open the surgeon menu without him.

Yeah the ?/console commands is pretty much essential for the game (Skyrim)if you want to complete it.. sadly (or not) enough.
