I'm doing the same thing right now for Pietro! I got lucky and found Judy on an island when looking for a new villager, but 14 smug villagers in and no sign of Pietro. I will say though, it seems like a pretty reliable method and I'm happy I started it.

I feel like we need a support thread for people suffering thru the campsite method ; - ; Im looking for Raymond and Im currently at 33 campers (and I think Ive gone a few time skips without a camper.....please isabelle give me some good news)

I've been off and on it today so I haven't played as much but I feel like my luck has gotten worse??? I ended up with 4 jock villagers in a row when I already have Kid Cat on my island and NO smug villagers. Hoping this is just a weird coincidence, gonna start back on the method rn

Ok I give up, I currently have Raymond in my campsite and while I'm not a huge Raymond stan, I know I'd regret it forever if I left him there, so the hunt for Pietro is ending. I have NFC tags coming in the mail and was too lazy to wait for them, but I guess I can wait a couple more weeks for my bb clown. If anyone's curious, here's the breakdown of villagers I had in my campsite:

I had no smug villagers on my island since I kicked out Phil. I don't want to keep doing this method looking for Pietro because it's tedious and I won't get as many smug villagers in the campsite once Raymond is moved in.

I just got Judy from the campsite method yesterday! It took about 2.5 years of time travel, but I also feel like I got bad RNG because I got through ~75% of the snooty villagers before I got her. Then I had to reset about a dozen times to get her to boot out the villager I wanted to kick. It's definitely easiest if you have at least one of every personality type besides snooty. Don't get discouraged if it takes a while, it felt amazing when I finally got her! Sending good vibes for you and your RNG

here is the campsite guide. it is recommended you have 10 villagers already and have each personality except the personality of the villager/s you're aiming for.
