I've had Junes for almost 2 years, now. I'm pretty attached to this town, I love my animals, and I've spent so much time there, so many hours (even had a few ACNL dreams due the amount of time spent playing.) but at the same time, I want to create something original without the P4 characters of Yosuke and Yu. Ya know... My town. But I'm at odds about destroying everything and starting over.
When I first got New leaf I spent days on end trying to get the villagers I liked, and fruits, flowers, items and what not...and it was hard for me to leave it for a while. Things got hard in real life and other games got my attention soo I wasn't focused on NL.
Now that I am back, I started over, not long after the Amiibo update and I spent a couple of hours getting the things I wanted and now that i am far enough into the game I would be heart broken to start over, but I have multiple DS systems so I can just get another copy...so I would think long and hard about starting over after you've been attached for so long.
You can just get another copy with only one DS system...I did. If you do that then you don't have to decide now at all. You can play either town whenever you want. I love both my towns, but am too busy this summer to play both, so I put Novaria to "sleep." I will probably look at it as all fresh and new after being away for awhile. Meanwhile, I have had Elenrast for a little over two months and am having a blast with it! It is totally different from my first town...I love that!
