Do a majority of people replace their starting villagers with amiibo ones? For example, I have 9 people in my town and I have 10 amiibo villagers I want to use. Is it alright to replace them all with my cards?

If you don't particularly care for your starting villagers and would love to see those amiibo characters as villagers, go for it!

Personally, I haven't replaced any of my starting villagers because I don't have any amiibo and I don't have an NFC reader. So my decision has already been made for me.

It depends on how you yourself feel. I would never replace any of my villagers because I have a strong attachment to them all. I happened to have only 9 however due to one of my long time villagers moving out a while ago, so I managed to bring Tammy in using her amiibo card, someone I had wanted for a long time in my village. Some people don't really have any attachment to their villagers and if that's the case go ham.

If you have cards that you wanna use then use them! ^-^ The villagers won't mind~ Its up to you to run the town the way you feel is right

Of course it's "alright". If you want all your villagers to be Amiibo villagers, go for it. Hell, I might replace half of my villagers with Sanrio ones.

Everyone is going to play this game entirely differently. If that's what you want to do then I say go for it!

Of course it is. I'm replacing all of mine eventually when the Sanrio cards arrive
Going to move all my amiibo figure villagers in within the next couple of weeks, it's just personal choice

Yup, you can definitely do that if you want. I was thinking of maybe keeping half original and half amiibo (or even less than half) in my town. And at least have 1 or 2 that I can switch out maybe to meet new characters and so the game doesn't get boring for me.

Amiibo Villagers are probably better.
Usually when resetting... it has mixed results. Most common villager I found was... Rosie :3

I think I will start up a new copy of New Leaf to have a town filled with Amiibo villagers. I'm too attached to my current villagers to get rid of them.

I can finally get a nice layout and not worry about who's there, I can just use a amiibo card and kick the ugly villager's butt out and not time travel all day just to get rid of them or losing another villager instead because I was time traveling.

I have replaced a villager in one of my towns already, not because they're were ugly. I just wanted Vich? and I already have the villager I kick out for her in another town.

Most of my starter villagers are already gone, but I would definitely never kick out the remaining two for an amiibo character :( For other villagers, I wouldn't mind so much.

♥ i'm really attached to my started villagers,
so i'm not thinking of kicking them out any time soon...
but that's just my way of playing,
you can play anyway you want as long as it makes you happy c: ♥

I totally did that. I had a few dreamies already (my new town blessed me with both Tiffany and Merengue as starter villagers), but pretty much everyone else got replaced. I had REALLY good luck with my Amiibo cards. I wasn't about to deal with villagers I don't like in inconvenient spots just to play the "natural" way haha.
