Starter villagers?? (more specifically Beau)

So, I bought a second copy of the game and want beau as a starter. I've been resetting since yesterday, and haven't gotten him yet? is it even possible to get Beau as a starter or am I wasting my time? please help!

Yes, it's possible. I had him as a starter in my cycle town

Good luck! I remember doing this in the past to get a certain villager. Definitely takes a while but is definitely worth it when you get him c:

I never cared for starting characters at all because they usually ended up in the worst spots..... however, going into my town of Rutabaga I knew I would want Lobo in town eventually and I was shocked to get him and in a really nice spot! he's still i town and I refuse to let him leave lol

Lucky! I've gotten lobo twice during this reset adventure. But That brings up the question, are some villagers more likely to show up in the town, and some villagers rare to get T_T?

Yes I've had beau as a starter 2 times

Honestly, you just cycle for him or buy him from someone. Starter villagers are randomly generated each time so it could take forever to get him.

I think so. At least then you can plot reset but if you get him as a starter, his house could be in a really annoying place.

Well I finally got beau, but I was messing around and called the town...Blopper... trying to get him on my main copy is the pain now..
