Buying Starter Homes

I'm brand new to the game, and still setting up my starter homes. I'm nearly there but just need a few more resources to finish them all?

I need 41 pieces of wood and 5 pieces of clay. I'd be happy to pay for them, can either come to your island or can open the gates .
