And i heard so much good things about NL so i had to check it out!
i restarted the game until i saw a cat and after like 5 resets i had punchy as one of my starters :D
when i walked through town i found merry is living here also!
very awsome game so far - makes me understand NH more

yaaay! mrmpht.
i wanna ask you this though, do you notice that punchy also looked different? i don't know if others notices this or it's just me 😩

enjoy the game!

Enjoy! I have a ton of nostalgia for NL (I was a day 1 adopter along with my dad and brothers). It overall has more content than NH right now, and it has a better soundtrack IMO (NH has way more polish tho, and we haven’t seen everything they have to offer).

yess i have noticed - most of the NL have skinnier body and bigger heads.
i think they noticed it in NH and added their bodies a bit more thickness to make them look softer and cutter.
they also sound very different thats for sure lol.
u can really see how everything evolved once they had better technology to work with

and thank you!! its really fun and not demanding like NH i play like 20-40 mins a day and its enough for me.
NH chores feels twice as long to me.

ty!
one of the reasons i stareded to play is to see the features that will come one day to NH

one thing that i must point - from the start of the game - u can see the villagers have more to say and interact with.
i also saw on youtube they can visit ur house in this game which is pretty cool, and they talk about each other not in a generic way like
like in NH.
in NH its like - "have been to this guys house? it smells like orange soda"
in NL its like - "have u seen the two of those became friends.." feels like a more complex dialog which is a good thing.

the cats really did look so much more skinny in NL.
i've been playing again but because NH is the new thing, i play NL not more than 20 mins a day. just the dailies. also waiting for someone to move out lol. if you need something from the game, like hybrids or fruits and stuff, i'm here :D

TYSM!! very kind of you but Tbh i don't really care much about hybrids/museum and such because of the low graphics im playing the game mostly to soak in the experience - but i do give blathers stuff to unlock things in game in the future

I replayed NL a bit (tting this time-it’s my third town!) and while I like the music and some of the missing furniture sets, I cannot exactly say that I miss everything that got cut/is in waiting. Like diving: it was a pain to dive in NL (the controls were kinda weird, most stuff was way too quick, you were on a time limit, and stuff could dip out of bounds).

I ordered a refurbished 2ds (the clamshell version lol) and cant wait to play new leaf again. one of the first 3ds games i ever played and it's the first ac game i played, I miss it big lol. the progression of unlocking pwps and seeing the plaza tree grow was incredibly rewarding to me

I will say I went back and played nL a few days ago after having nH for months and I started getting dizzy just walking around in it but it does have more content right now so I have not finished the story line part in it and don’t have everything yet

new leaf is my favorite entry (even next to NH's new and improved presentation)! i guess im just a sucker for nostalgia haha. i grew up playing it like some others in this thread. glad youre enjoying the game so far though! 💖 deffs keep us updated on your progress!!

also ive been playing new leaf a ton lately. i just want all the updates for NH to be out already haha

i really like the island and all the kappas!
i wish they will return it in some way
even though the nmt is pretty much the same
