Stars?

Today I visited Club Tortimer for the first time in ages. The only other person on the island said Hi, and then immediately started begging me for thousands of stars... Am I missing something? I asked if they meant bells, but they said they wanted stars?

I generally ignore everyone on Club Tortimer. I'm going to assume he was asking for Bells or Medals.

That's the main reason why I don't go to the island anymore. They get all crazy.

Only thing I can think of is that the European Club Nintendo uses stars instead of coins? It also takes a lot more stars than coins to get items. (The Super Mario 3D World OST is 3000 stars, apparently).

Maybe bells because the bell icon has a brown star? They're probably a younger player or someone who doesn't know the game?

This was my thought. If they are in EU, then they could have been talking about Club Nintendo rewards.

They were probably referring to bells. When people like that arrive on the island I end up leaving.

I think in the german version of the game, bells are called Sternise (or something like that). And Stern = Star. So yeah, they most likely meant bells!
