Star fragment glitch after update

Last night after I updated my game I had TT’d to a meteor shower to try and get some star fragments. When I went to the next day no stars showed up on my beach I tried it a few times and nothing still. Anyone else notice the same?

Make sure you clear the beach of shells and stuff!! Fragments dont appear if there isnt room to do so.

Not sure if it's any helpful to you but after I finish making my wishes the night of the meteors shower, I run around and collect every single spawned shells/etc around my island. The next morning, I've found only fragments on the first round of beach items spawn. Keep checking throughout the day too because they'll keep spawning until you reach your capped (I forgot what the exact capped number was, sorry!)

they take a while to spawn all the time (p.s if you TT to the morning, make sure you do it before 5am, because I wasted a lot of time TTing to 8am and so on and found that they WILL not appear) I've spent a good hour running around gathering fragments after a good meteor shower. Also make sure to go inside buildings to try and force spawn them!
