Stalk Market Master
Automated Advice and Records-keeping (v0.4)

Hey all! Over the course of the past year, I've been working on-and-off on a project that I call Stalk Market Master. What started as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet which allowed me to track my weekly earnings in the Stalk Market quickly changed into a spreadsheet that everybody could use to better their gains on the Stalk Market, regardless of their experience level.

Stalk Market Master serves as both a tool to maintain records of your investments in the Stalk Market (net profit/loss, amount tipped, location sold, etc.) but additionally gives (BETA) advice on how to play the Stalk Market for users who are unfamiliar with the patterns and trends which their buying prices at Re-Tail can follow.

To use Stalk Market Master, all you need to do is download the excel file. Enter whole numbers (ie "68" as opposed to "68 bells") into any box which is double-walled as you purchase, sell, or check prices throughout the week. The spreadsheet will automatically color-code and chart your town's buying prices to help you visualize the trends in your neighborhood, and additionally provide you automatically with its own advice or insights. Currently, if you miss a singular entry throughout the week, the advice section will not work.

The advice is currently managed by a series of logic formulas which are hidden from view and password protected from being modified; while it isn't a substitute for human intuition, in my personal testing of it, it seems to work fine almost all of the time, with some occasional errors. It's currently in beta, and the only thing I ask is for you to report your errors/findings back to me so I can improve it!

The spreadsheet comes with only one page named "blank" which contains the page that you fill in. You can duplicate this page (ctrl+click+drag) in excel to create multiple pages to use for your records, and rename the page as well.
