hrmm... having played against them a lot (they're my friends' favorites), i can say that it is possible to dodge them.

kirby - get far enough away
pikachu - just get good at dodging an otherwise difficult to control power for the user

Well, not really. It's actually pretty useful if you use it right.

I like Meta Knight's a little but I would've preferred his final smash being the super tornado thing from Kirby Super star.
