Hello viewer! I have decided that I want to start playing SSB competitively more specifically SSB4 as there is no wifi for SSBB anymore :( if someone could teach me some terminology and concepts it would be helpful. I do know some things that are in most fighting games such as canceling, combo etc. as I've played a few other fighting games. You can also play a match with me and tell me what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong or what I need to add. In other fighting games I've been told I'm too impatient. Also if you want you can link me to a guide(videos preferred).
So far I main Shiek and am comfortable with Samus,Pit,Lucario,Link/Toon Link, Pikachu and Little Mac although I can probably manage with just about any character from Brawl.

I'm not a super competitive player but I might be able to tell you a thing or two.

Thanks :) I'll be on at 4PM PST

I also would like to say that a metagame hasn't really been formed yet, seeing as the game just got out last Friday and the demo sometime in mid-September. There's still lots of testing that needs to be done, so if you want to have a good feel for the metagame I wouldn't try diving into it now, you'll find either very little information, or there will be a change later. Just saying.

Normally I thought somethings carried over from past titles. I'd at least like to try to know what ever carries across from title to title. I can get into the new stuff later. At this point I don't really even know the basics. If there is change later I'm sure I can adapt.

I main Sheik/Robin so we can Sheik vs Sheik tomorrow if you want and I can give you some tips! Heading to bed soon though.

WHAAAT?! You can never do anything wrong in Smash, unless you're "Excessively targeting one player" over the internet.

I already beat SSB4 today, so I can notify you on almost anything.
