i thought she was saying that in the event that she was town OR mafia she would’ve fought harder. meaning she was 3rd party, which tbh i’m kind of not sure about.
the only third party role we know of is maybe a janitor and can the janitor clean up their own lynch??
this is what I was talking about with Epona - a third party janitor that can clean their own lynch probably wouldn't be the weirdest thing ever but like... what purpose would it serve? What would the wincon be? How would that fit into the other players? It's possible they could also wipe other night kills or lynches, sure. But if Kat really did just straight up give up on playing due to personal reasons (hope you're okay if you read this Kat)), then why go on to wipe herself and stir up this confusion?

By this I mean, I think Dad mentioned the janitor role for a reason. Why would he come to the conclusion that this role in particular is a janitor?
hate to buy into your thematic interpretation of the game but i believe geoni said something along the lines of it making sense that there's a janitor role in the game, which is fmpov more likely just a natural conclusion to come to after a flip is obscured and the game is called squeaky clean mafia
epona - If I live past this night I need to ISO epona, but currently she is one of my mafia leans and what I believe is a good lynch candidate for tomorrow. One thing I find super annoying is that epona clearly is upset that we are talking about role claims... and then continues to discuss the role claims. I know I'm furthering it just by bringing it up, but the fact that epona seems mad about it but then continues to talk about it makes it feel like she is trying to get town off of useful discussion. I know this is just a small thing, but it hits a red flag for me. I can't see why any town would respond like this and then go on and keep talking about it. It seems like a mafia play to me.

saying that you accept that we can't discern alignment from role names but that we may be able to discern a pattern is just plain semantics, what is the difference??? if we were able to discern a pattern that actually gave us anything worthwhile to go off, we'd be able to discern alignment. this argument is stupid and it's been explained time and time again why it's stupid
you're contradicting yourself too; yes donald trump seems random when it comes to cleaning but the first thing i think of when i heard red billed ox head fat bird or whatever your role name is is not 'oh yeah this bird is great at cleaning'

if you were to line up all the roles that have been claimed so far i would argue YOURS is the one that seems the most random. abandon this line of thought it's not doing you any favours and it's really frustrating quite a few of us
DinoTown - I'm still nervous about DinoTown. I don't think her posts are very helpful to town. The post that was last written when I started writing this, #686, is just a paragraph of questions that a mafia could easily write to make it look like they're contributing. It's really not an analysis of any kind and to me it just looks like filler from mafia. Other than this posting tangent I have been on since the game started, there is not really much that DinoTown has done that has raised big red flags for me. It's a mafia-lean but I want to ISO her.
bell account - bell account is an experienced (I think) mafia player who I have let fly under the radar since they are new to the forum. Honestly, I am pretty stumped on their behaviour since they seem smart but also don't seem to be making connections that I would expect an experienced mafia player to make. They are coming off as inquisitive in the thread, but their questions aren't actually revealing information for town. If their questions are helping them form reads, why haven't they posted their reads yet?
Mayor Leaf - I think Mayor Leaf has been actively participating in discussions they find beneficial to helping find mafia. Overall I am getting a town-lean from them but I have not been reading most of their posts so I will need to re-read a lot.
Seroja - I think Seroja is town, not really much to elaborate on, but I can expand if anybody wants me to tomorrow.
biancasbotique - I think bianca has a fair amount of sus on her right now. She hasn't posted any meaningful reads yet but still seems relatively engaged in the game. Bianca herself said that she is better at making reads outside of Day 1 so hopefully tomorrow will bring out a vicious side of bianca we have all been waiting to see.
voltairenism/Damniel - I was suspicious of voltairenism but after Damniel has subbed in I am pretty null, maybe slight town lean. I don't think Dan would act so aggressive Night 1 after getting subbed in if he were mafia, as he could easily just wait until Day 2 to make his plays. One post in particular just made me think he is town, and if I find it again I'll quote it up.
Geoni - If he isn't dead and we also haven't found mafia by the end of Day 2, I may have to just sus him for longevity's sake. If he is mafia, he is currently trying to pocket me. If he is town, we shared a lot of reads early game. I would like to say he is a town-lean for me, but it's always hard to solidify a Geoni read because you have to constantly worry about being blindsided by him.
Antonio - I'm not sure why Antonio is losing his cool this game over people sussing him. He literally susses people all the time with little evidence or just bad evidence and drills them until they want to quit the game. Mini-rant aside, I think he is town just based on his eagerness to solve the game. I don't remember if I have actually played a game of mafia where Antonio was mafia, so I usually just leave him to people who know him better, which is more or less what I'm doing here as well.
Teddy345 - Noob town in my eyes. I am pretty sure everyone who I generally read similarly to feels the same way.

I don't think so, because I genuinely don't think a mafia would have given up that easily. I don't think Kat would have gotten that attention if she didn't role claim so I believe it was a third party move. She was accountable to nobody expect herself.

i don’t agree that a player being alive so long means that they’re maf. sussing geo just because he’s alive isn’t a fair argument that no one could really defend against. for example in the last game glow was left alive until the end of the game despite her being a strong player, and people lynched geo because “if he’s scum he’s dangerous”

I am not saying that he is mafia because he was left alive so long, but it's commonplace in mafia to raise an eye of suspicion at good players who make it a long time. I'm currently town reading him, but I just wanted to write that so I don't end up sheeping him the whole game, as I did last game with shawo.
Also WRT Geoni/Janitor, Antonio was not implying Geoni knew the role beforehand. You just misinterpreted Antonio's post. Just mentioning this now so it doesn't become another useless discussion in a sea of useless discussions.
