Spot passes

I was wondering if there is any where to get spot passes for acnl anymore.. I haven't gotten one in a long time... I've gone to McDonald's, but I don't think they do it anymore... I would like to see some homes in my showcase, but I have none.. Any suggestions?

You're just going to have to take your ds with you everywhere and hope you street pass someone who plays ACNL if you want houses in your HHS. Hot spots would be things like conventions or even meetups if there are some in your area.

i didnt find spotpasses or streetpasses to be common even when the game first came out...but i live in vermont so lol

I drive around my town for a living (pizza delivery woot) and Ive taken my 3DS with me several days.
So far I've only passed 1 person to get a house.
My luck, tho, is that it was a well developed house with lots of furniture I could order.
